JR Automotive Terms & Conditions

1. Introduction & Booking Terms

As a VAT-registered business, all pricing is subject to VAT. Please note that quoted prices are exclusive of VAT, which will be added to your final invoice at the current standard rate. By booking a detailing package with JR Automotive Ltd, you agree to our terms of business. Any bookings that are confirmed (via deposit or otherwise) but are subsequently affected by the changes outlined below may result in full service charges being payable. An invoice will be sent to the email address supplied at the point of booking.

2. Deposits

JR Automotive Ltd reserves the right to request a deposit to secure booking times and dates. All bookings are subject to a deposit, at the company's discretion, before confirmation correspondence is sent. Deposits vary according to the type of booking and total cost of services, typically ranging from 30% to 40% (calculated to the nearest whole pound). Deposits are strictly non-refundable; however, at our discretion, they may be transferred to a rearranged booking.

3. Payment, Delayed Collection & Storage

Full payment for all services must be completed and cleared before any vehicle is released. If payment is withheld, delayed, or uncleared, the vehicle will be retained in our secure storage. In the event that a vehicle must be stored due to delayed payment or delayed collection, a storage fee of £75 per day will be charged until the balance clears and the vehicle is collected. Failure to pay outstanding invoices will result in legal action.

4. Cancellations & Rescheduling

We operate on an appointment-only basis. As such, bookings and deposits are non-refundable. We reserve the right to request full payment for quoted services under certain circumstances:

  • Within 48 hours (2 working days): Cancellations require payment of the full quoted service cost.

  • 3 to 14 working days: Cancellations are subject to a 50% fee of the originally quoted amount.

  • More than 14 working days: The deposit remains non-refundable.

  • Rescheduling: We reserve the right to apply a 15% rescheduling fee for any altered bookings.

In the unlikely event that JR Automotive Ltd must reschedule your booking due to extreme weather, equipment failure, or other unforeseen circumstances, you will be offered the earliest possible alternative date.

5. Exclusion of Liability

JR Automotive Ltd cannot accept responsibility for any mechanical or electrical faults that may occur during the detailing process. The company is not responsible for checking that child car seats, booster seats, or other interior fixtures are correctly re-installed prior to use; this remains the strict responsibility of the vehicle owner.
